Innerware - is there any hope?

Innerware - it's my local, South Australian company, they've got five stores across Adelaide. As many bigger and smaller lingerie retailers they advertise to have trained fitters in all stores. As company's owner Carol Samares is saying on the website: "We have always offered a complimentary expert fitting service. Right from day one we were amazed by how many women had for years been wearing the wrong sizes. The comfort women find in being correctly fitted is always a revelation. Together with our pricing policy, complimentary fitting and great service is a key factor that keeps our customers coming back."

To be honest, I never was much interested in this store. I know what brands I can find in there (Triumph, Playtex, Fayreform, Berlei and few others) and after my try with Fayreform I wasn't keen to try it again.
When I was pregnant , my size went up (almost overnight) from G to H,  I didn't have a much choice, I had to go to Innerware. It's only 30 inutes drive away andI can't walk around without bra on:)))

I was welcomed by friendly lady. I've told her I'm pregnant and I need a bra ( I was 2-3 months, I can't remember exactly).  So, I was told that I can't wear underwired bra and I have to try maternity bras. I'm sorry, I'm not going to wear soft maternity bra when I am only 2 months pregnant!
She gave me "THE LOOK" and asked if I need help with finding my size. The biggest cup in size 32 ( Australian 10) they have was H - but it was that maternity bra she wanted my to try (Triumph).
Not so friendly anymore fitter suggested to try some 34g (this is the biggest cup in 34).
Guess what brand she has choose???? Fayreform!!! I only have photo of one of the bras, be aware, it's most ugliest bra in the world!

It's called Charlotte, poor Charlotte...
The "trained fitter" was so intimidating I really ended up buying this beauty! There was only one more bra that kind of fitted me and it was Fayreform again.

More photos to admire:

Now, when my drawer is full of  pretty and well fitting bras, I'm not going into Innerware any more.
But before writing this post I went to check their website and I almost fell of my chair. They stock Freya, Elomi and Fantasie!  Look at this: http://www.innerware.com.au/

I got quite excited and then I had a look what they have for sale:

  1.  Freya ActiveUnderwire Soft Bra, sizes 30(dd-f), 32(f,g), 34(f,g,h) 36(f,g,h) and 38(f,g,h)
  2.  Freya Deco (nude), sizes 30(d-f), 32(d-f), 34(d,dd,e,f,g), 36(d,dd,e,f,g)
  3.  Fantasie Smoothing (nude), sizes 36(d,dd,e,f,g), 38(d,dd,e,f) and 40(d,dd,e,f)
  4.  Fantasie Smoothing Strapless in only one size 30dd

Some may say, this is not too bad but I'm not happy with this choice at all.
I am planning to visit this store soon, so there will be a review, I hope I will not have to deal with the same fitter again;)

  1. I just wanted to say that I've been intimidated into buying a bad bra by a fitter, too... I KNEW I needed at least a 28H, and that Panache doesn't work for me, but I still somehow left the store with a poorly-fitting 30G Tango Panache! :(

  2. I remember this story from your blog. I would like to go to this store for a fitting again, just for the sake of the blog...I am down to size 30h so I am not sure if there would be big choice for me.
