Trying to find my EM size.

PL Czarny Kropek 34gg
PL Bella 34gg
CH Perelka 34gg

Ewa Michalak is another, after Biubiu, great Polish brand. I've been dreaming about trying her bras for months. I think it can be quite hard to find your size in EM. First thing: you have to be honest and measure your boobs according to EM calculator. As you can see on this photos above, I wasn't.
I didn't measured my boobs properly, sent wrong numbers and ended up with cups 2 sizes smaller then I should get.
My underbust is 77 cm, in bust I've got 106cm. But, when I measure it in the way EM wants (in the bend forward position) the number is 116! My EM size is 34hh.
Second: I've got great advice from Clarisse (member of Lobby Biusciastych). Soft breast and PL style: when you put your bra on, it needs some room in the cups. Because breasts are soft, when you wear your bra, they will fill the bra up after a while. If your bra is too small, you will end up with quadro boob. This is photo of PL Purple in 34h:

This size is better, it looks like a good fit, but after a while my boobs are trying to escape in the middle. If not for Clarisse advice, I would gave up with PL style. But I found second hand PL Fuksja in 34hh and it fits great. I can spend all day in it and I don't have to readjust my breast at all. I will post a photo in Fuksja soon.

PL style it's not a everyday bra for me, but I like to put it on from time to time, and it's a very handy with breastfeeding too:)
Padded bras aren't my favourite, I only have 2 at the moment, which is enough for me.

  1. I just realized you have a blog too! :) That's interesting about her comment with soft breast tissue and PLs. I've tried a few and all have either been too small or too big and no matter what I try I get spillage towards the middle. :( However, now that I can order 28 bands through the big bra bar maybe it would be worth it to give it a second shot? I have a CH Toffik on the way so once I double check the size there, maybe I'll give PLs another shot. ;)

  2. Oh no, somebody found my little blog:))) Nobody wants to listen to my bra talks in real life so I am just talking to myself on the blog;)
I should mention PL Fuksja is from you:) I am not very keen on CH style, I don't like to feel so unsupported.

  3. Sorry, if it was supposed to be a secret. :)

I figured the Fuksja was from me and I'm glad that it's a better fit for you! You haven't tried any CHs in 75HH to compare have you? It'd be interesting to know if you needed the same size in them. I'd love to try the PL Carmen but my other attempts with them always lead to spillage towards the center... it's something to think about.

  4. Ha ha no it's not a secret. I am just shy, but in a funny way: I can show photo of myself in the bra to the world but I know my English isn't so good as I wish. I think I am scared of poeple telling me to fix my English first and then write.

  5. I haven't tried CH in 75hh. As you can see, Perelka was 75gg and it was too small, but this photo was taken one month after having a baby. I've lost some weight and my breasts got smaller. I don't have Perelka anymore, it might fit me better now. My point: many ladies would say CH runs smaller in the cup then HP or PL but I never had all 3 styles in one size to compare. I haven't tried HP at all.
I would love to try more bras from Ewa, my wishlist: PL Black, HP Classic and CHP Koktajl.

  6. Oh wow you've started blogging! That's so great. Hey how do you find the PL Bella bra? I read from CurvyWordy's blog that the straps are somehow thin and flimsy, do you agree? :-)

  7. My Bella...I only had it on me few times, it was too small:(
It's one of my favourite EM Bras, the straps were thin and not the best quality. If I would wear it, I recon the straps would get stretched. But I love the look of Bella so much I am planning to buy it in a proper size. This bra is so pretty in real:)

    1. Thanks for your answer! Which EM plunges would you recommend, then? I've had problems with EM bra straps so I want to buy a bra with the best possible straps. :-)

    2. I haven't try many but maybe PL Purple??? It looks loke newer styles have better straps too. I remember reading that PL Burgung has stretchy straps. I can see you've asked Caroline about it on Twitter - she will know the best:)))
